The purpose of Glenn View Baptist Church is to Make Disciples. Matthew 28:19-20 gives all Christians the mandate,
“As you are going, make disciples of all nations…” Making Disciples at Glenn View is a simple process that follows these four steps:
The entry steps into the Discipleship Lighthouse represent worship. We begin the process by exalting our lord and Savior above all else. We strive to create an environment that leads people to worship God.
The door to the Discipleship Lighthouse represents Fellowship/Spiritual Growth. We are better together, just as God designed it. Small groups provide opportunities to grow in both our relationships with God and with others.
The inside steps of the Discipleship Lighthouse represent Ministry. Every believer has been specifically and uniquely gifted to do ministry in service to the Lord and others. We strive to equip believers to find and fulfill their God-ordained ministry.
The light at the top of the Discipleship Lighthouse represents Evangelism. Every believer has been given unique circles of influence. We are called to shine the light of Christ to the people in these circles.
